Multi-family projects installed up to date under Design Tec Commercial. 

Role: FF&E Designer, (previously, Designer) – Specifications, Coordination & Presentation Support

As part of the Design Tec team, I contributed to a wide range of multi-family residential projects throughout Southern California. My responsibilities were consistent across projects and included all aspects of FF&E design, specification, coordination, and project presentation support.

Key Contributions Across Projects

  • Conducted material and furniture research and selection, including fabrics and finishes

  • Coordinated with vendors and gathered quotes for FF&E and finishes

  • Prepared custom FF&E drawings for quote request and supported construction supervision

  • Wrote and maintained FF&E specifications and record-keeping of all project specifications

  • Collaborated closely with the procurement team to ensure accurate ordering and alignment with design intent

  • Participated in FF&E installation, overseeing proper placement, verifying finishes, and collaborating with the installation team to maintain design quality

  • Sourced new vendors for finishes or FF&E as needed

  • Assisted with project presentations by contributing to:

    • SketchUp models and scene enhancements in Photoshop (lighting adjustments)

    • Layouts and presentation boards in InDesign

    • Furniture plan tagging for clear documentation

  • Selected and curated artwork, determining appropriate sizes and creating artwork presentations tailored to client requests
